With CM Punk in action for NXT over the weekend, that appearance saw the current WWE Champion powerbombed by Myka Lockwood.

Taking place from Petersburg's Virginia State University Multipurpose Center, this NXT house show was main-evented by Punk teaming with Myles Borne and Tavion Heights to pick up a win over the Vanity Project's Jackson Drake, Brod Baylor, and Ricky Smokes. However, the Straight-Edge Superstar at one point found himself being powerbombed by Myka Lockwood before Jaida Parker came out to brawl to the back with Lockwood.

NXT's Mason Rook took to X to mark this moment with a picture of himself, Punk, Borne, Heights, NXT Champion Tony D'Angelo, NXT Women's Champion Kendal Grey, Cruz Montana, Lizzy Raine, Saquon Shugars, and various NXT personnel.

Following the show's main event, CM Punk hit a GTS on the ever-cocky Tristan Angels, and EK Prosper then put Angels through a table with a frog splash - all as cake was involved to celebrate EK's birthday.

The Second City Saint took to his Instagram Stories after the event to say:
