Every WWE Studios Movie - Ranked From Worst To Best

20. The Marine (2006)

The Marine The Condemned Scorpion King Inside Out
20th Century Fox

Starring: John Cena

Say what you will about John Cena's big attempt to ape The Rock's Hollywood success, but it sure is a lot of ridiculous, dumb fun. What separates The Marine from the lesser WWE Studios films is its style and personality: firstly, it cost $15 million so looks a good deal nicer, and isn't so blandly self-serious.

That's not to call the movie in on the joke, but it provides consistent laughs and entertainment throughout, be it in the form of the absurd number of explosions, the Michael Bay-impersonating aesthetic, or Cena's howlingly wooden line delivery.

Plus, there's the T-1000 himself, Robert Patrick, hamming it up a storm as the villain, leading to a memorable reference to his most iconic role when one of his henchmen says of Cena, "This guy's like the Terminator."
