5. Natalya Vs Brie Bella (SummerSlam 2013)

Cast far more productively as a heel, Brie Bella was on excellent form as a scathing antagonist against 'Total Divas' rival Natalya.

On a quest for even just the tiniest glimmer of in-ring respect as she had been for pretty much the entirety of her WWE career, the last Hart Dungeon graduate took the twin to school merely as a reminder that she could still be a creditable wrestler if WWE ever actually wished to exploit her skills.

Both former Divas Champions at that point (as if it remotely mattered at the time), the two were the best combination to scrap from the six, and lit each other with some early strikes and slaps that lifted the crowd beyond the tranquility ordinarily reserved for the division's bouts.

A whining, snivelling heel, Brie used the help of sister Nikki and Eva Marie at ringside to take advantage in the match, then smartly took control of an audience that had begun obnoxiously chanting for the commentary team in an effort to get themselves over.

Subduing a 'We Want Sable' chant, Brie burned holes through the capacity crowd whilst grabbing a hold, patiently and professionally working through the dissent to take back the attention in time for Natalya's comeback and eventual victory with the Sharpshooter.

An underrated display in challenging circumstances, Bella did a far better job than the seasoned Randy Orton and Sheamus had earlier that year at coping with some unpleasant and unfair insubordination.
