The Forgotten Sons gimmick was a little too on the nose for its own good when just about everybody else on NXT was getting over but them, but Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake almost made the angle work on the main roster before Jaxon Ryker made some really ill-advised remarks online. Cutler was cut in February.
