Everything Announced For Tonight's WWE SmackDown Card (6 Aug)

Baron Corbin vs. Finn Balor, Sasha Banks, John Cena, and more.

Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin is the only match announced for tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown thus far.

It stems from last week, when Corbin was one of the interrupting parties in Balor's attempted contract signing for a Universal Title match with Roman Reigns. Baron's arrival (and Finn's objection to it) caused the confusion that allowed John Cena to swoop in, sign his own signature on the documents, and score the SummerSlam 2021 shot.

Reigns had originally ducked out of Cena's title challenge, accepting one from Balor instead. Now, he has no choice.

WWE are also teasing fallout from the Reigns/Cena situation for tonight. While the company is yet to officially announce any kind of segment between the two, this show date has been part of the Summer of Cena tour since it was unveiled weeks ago.

There'll also be fallout from last week's most shocking moment, as Sasha Banks returned, conned Bianca Belair into thinking she was aligning with her, then turned on the SmackDown's Women's Champion. The duo are expected to go one on one for the belt at SummerSlam on 21 August.
