Everything You Need To Know About The IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary Teases

13. Yujiro Takahashi

The tease: some old footage of Yujiro Takahashi circa-2009 was shown in the first trailer, back when he teamed with Tetsuya Naito as No Limit.

The likelihood of it happening: <5%

Yujiro Takahashi, wrestling simply as Yujiro, made for a phenomenal addition to IMPACT's doubles division in 2009 alongside No Limit pal Tetsuya Naito (just Naito in the then-TNA), albeit a brief addition. Respect must be thrown 'The Tokyo Pimp's' way for some stellar matches with the likes of the Motor City Machine Guns and LAX. The original LAX, that is; Homicide and Hernandez.

Now, his Bullet Club stablemate El Phantasmo was in the IMPACT Zone recently, fialing to lift the X Division Championship from Josh Alexander, but having a remarkable performance nonetheless. Takahashi could have filled that sort of slot post-Slammiversary, had it not been for the fact he brings nothing to the table.

He's just a boring, stale member of a once-uber-popular faction, plus he's literally confirmed to be at a New Japan show the day of Slammiversary. It's not happening.
