Ex-WWE Name Unpacks BIZARRE Conspiracy Theory About Triple H, Roman Reigns (WWE News)

Was Roman Reigns criticising WWE creative on behalf of The Rock?! Someone certainly thinks so!

Ex-WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman believes that recent criticism aimed towards the company's creative process from top star Roman Reigns was "a direct shot" at boss Triple H. In fact, as Coach claimed during an episode of 'The Coach & Bro Show' with Vince Russo, those comments Roman made called Hunter's leadership into question.

Going even further than that, Russo suggested that none other than The Rock put Reigns up to it. The often-derided former head writer for WWE, WCW, TNA and elsewhere also said he's "1000% convinced" that Triple H won't be calling the shots in the promotion by 1 January 2027.

That's quite the claim.

Obviously, wrestling fans should take all of this with the biggest pinch of salt going. Coachman and Russo are clearly entitled to their own opinions, but that's all they are right now. There's zero proof that Roman was directly criticising Hunter, or that Rock was in his ear about tearing down the WWE roster and those on the writing staff.

In theory, what both Coachman and Russo are claiming is that there's a backstage power struggle between key players that'll end in messy fashion for 'The Game'. If what they're saying has any truth to it whatsoever, then it's Roman and Rocky vs. Trips.

Again, there's zero tangible evidence. Yes, Roman did cut into the way WWE's product has been produced lately during a bizarre takedown pre-Royal Rumble, but he didn't outright mention Triple H. He did, however, put over Nick Khan as an excellent part of the team.

Take from this what you will.
