EXCLUSIVE: Elektra Lopez is backstage right now at AEW Revolution. She was recently backstage at TNA. Several companies have a high interest in signing the Puerto Rican

Lopez is a recent WWE departure, having been let go by the market-leading wrestling promotion Friday, 7 February. PWInsider broke the news, noting that the former Legado del Fantasma member had quietly been moved to WWE.com's alumni section.

Assuming Elektra is bound to a standard WWE 90-day non-compete clause, she will not be able to appear to sign or appear for other wrestling promotions until 8 May. This would delay her potentially joining the AEW roster - or any other roster, for that matter.

WWE's list of wrestlers released in 2025 also includes Cedric Alexander, Sonya Deville, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows.

Lopez, 32, had been signed to WWE since February 2021, though she had appeared for the promotion several times before this, including a November 2018 NXT loss to Lacey Evans. By mid-2021, she was a full-time NXT performer, eventually moving to the main roster to re-join the Santos Escobar-led Legado del Fantasma in January 2024.

WWE primarily used Lopez as a manager after moving her to the main roster. Upon leaving NXT, she worked only four more matches for the promotion: one on Raw, two on SmackDown, and one on Speed. Her last bout was a Women's United States Title Tournament Triple Threat defeat to Tiffany Stratton in a bout also featuring Naomi, on 6 December 2024.
