This former WWE wrestler had a pay-per-view "moment" he'd rather forget.

Former WWE star Mike Knox detailed his thoughts and feelings about Shawn Michaels during an interview with Sportskeeda.

Knox recalled turning up to the Wachovia Center (now Wells Fargo Center) in Philadelphia for Survivor Series 2006 to find out that he'd be eliminated from one of the traditional bouts in just 40 seconds. Michael Hayes was the one who told him the news, and he tried to paint Mike's embarrassment as an opportunity.

Hayes described the job as, "one of those moments people remember". He said that first, which got Knox excited. Then...disappointment. The wrestler couldn't believe that anyone would think he'd be delighted to get ousted in less than one minute.

Knox also revealed that he and Shawn Michaels, who was eliminating him, never actually talked before or after the spot. Mike wasn't a fan of that - he found it all rather disrespectful and thinks Shawn could've done more to help him out.

He still thinks to this day that someone backstage was having a laugh at his expense. Knox didn't want to be remembered as the dude who got eliminated in 40 seconds.
