This former WWE wrestler has "nothing" left to achieve in pro wrestling.

Former WWE star Gangrel just admitted to Wrestling Inc that there's "nothing else [he] wants to do in wrestling".

The 'Attitude' era worker still regularly wrestles on the independent scene these days, but he figures that another stab at a major promotion is beyond reach. Why? Well, Gangers is more interested in "being respected as a trainer", and knows he's "not respected as a wrestler anymore".

Now 53, Gangrel thinks things might've passed him by in 2022. He did pop up for a cameo role in AEW at Full Gear 2020 (during a barmy match between Matt Hardy and Sammy Guevara), but that was always going to be a one-off. Meanwhile, there's been no sign that WWE are interested in using him at all.

Recently, Edge did pay homage to Gangrel's run as leader of The Brood by bringing back some elements of the group on WWE TV. That's about it for the vampire though - he's hardly about to rock up to Raw and have a staredown with his old protege.

Gangrel is also mindful of staying in there as an active wrestler "too long".
