Ex-WWE Stars Had "Huge Problem" With Matt Hardy
This former WWE tag-team didn't really get on with The Hardy Boys at all.
Perry Saturn has revealed that both he and Dean Malenko "had a huge problem" with Matt Hardy when they first arrived on the WWE scene back in 2000.
The former WWE man told Wrestling Shoot Interviews that Matt complained to Vince McMahon and mentor Michael Hayes that The Radicalz were "beating them up every night" during matches on the road. That didn't sit well with Perry or Dean - they were p*ssed.
Saturn suggested that he and Malenko butted heads with both Matt and Jeff when laying out bouts, but mainly Matt. At one point, Dean pulled Matt aside and told him: "Don't do that". Perry added: "You got to let us f*cking in on what's going on" and, "You've got to give Dean respect".
Things didn't change, so Perry admits he eventually stopped bumping around for Matt. He'd bump all night long for Jeff, but immediately "cut [Matt] off" once he tagged in.
In retrospect, Saturn thinks both sides could've handled things better than they did, but both he and Malenko were steaming mad about Matt's complaints at the time. It didn't sit well that he'd gone to McMahon, in particular.
