This former WWE female hopes to get the call from WWE before the end of 2021.

Former WWE women's star Cherry has put her name forward for a berth in the 2022 Royal Rumble match.

The one-time Diva told 'Ring The Belle' that she gets "excited" when she thinks about someday launching a WWE return. Cherry thinks the Rumble would be perfect for that, because fans are "on the edge of their seats waiting for a surprise appearance".

Cherry also put over Natalya as somebody she still loves watching today - Nattie's matches always impress Cherry, and she often wonders how the Canadian veteran comes up with some of the spots she works into her segments.

She'd love to follow suit and get another crack at the WWE spotlight.

Cherry is best-remembered as a roller-skating valet for old SmackDown tag-team Deuce & Domino. She left WWE in August 2008, but fans haven't heard much from her since. Now, the band are back together; Cherry, Deuce and Domino started taking independent bookings last year, and they're very-much interested in doing something special.

Would you like to see Cherry make a cameo appearance in the 2022 Royal Rumble, or perhaps make a full-time comeback?
