It was perhaps only a matter of time before Road Dogg chipped in on recent rumours regarding CM Punk's frosty backstage exchanges in AEW.

The WWE legend tackles current affairs routinely on his 'Oh You Didn't Know?' podcast, and he had something to say about the Punk situation too. According to Roadie, Punk was "kind of difficult to work with" during his final run as an active talent back in 2013-2014.

Dogg says he looked on as the irritated and frankly knackered ex-World Champion went through "professional issues" with upper management before walking out 24 hours after the 2014 Royal Rumble pay-per-view. The New Age Outlaw man and former DX member could see that some of the problem landed on Punk's side, not necessarily WWE's.

Road Dogg also added that he didn't personally speak to Punk about everything that was going on - they weren't exactly close friends, and only really exchanged greetings in the hallway. However, Dogg could see that Punk was "hard to deal with" for some.

He also reckons this is just history repeating itself with Tony Khan in AEW.
