Exclusive Interview: Paige VanZant On Commentating For UFC FIGHT PASS' Kinektic, Her Next Fight & More

How far in advance are things booked for Kinektic? Like, do you know all the cities you are going to be booked in for the next three months?

Paige VanZant: I pretty much have my schedule sussed out, month by month. I know exactly what I'll be doing for the next three or four months straight. From there I have an amazing management team that makes sure everything for me works out, works together and I don't have any overlap and it's all going to be the best for my career.

When you're not busy with your career, where does your free time usually go? For example, do you go to concerts or anything like that?

Paige VanZant: No, my husband [Austin Vanderford] is a professional fighter as well. Free time for us is going to church on Sunday and relaxing and doing whatever we can to recover for the next day, and wake up early and start training again. He's in a fight camp right now and he'll be fighting August 24th for Bellator. So if he's not in fight camp, I am. It really goes back and forth, and we don't really get a break. But it's a life that we love.

So finally, any last words for the kids?

Paige VanZant: I'm excited to test the waters in commentary for submission grappling. Hopefully a lot of people tune in and watch an amazing show.
