EXCLUSIVE: Miro Shoots On AEW's TNT Title Booking

Miro didn't hold back when giving his thoughts on the way AEW has handled its TNT Title.

AEW star Miro claims the promotion's TNT Title "has gone to sh*t" since he lost it to Sammy Guevara last September.

Miro told WhatCulture's own Andrew Pollard that he "blames" Guevara for the title's drop off - naturally, the 'Redeemer' was working a little with his comments, but they're nonetheless interesting. It's especially fun that he refused to hold back when quizzed on the secondary strap or what it means to AEW's current product.

"It's the man that creates the title, not the title that creates the man", he added.

Miro had already said that the then-vacant (the interview was conducted before Forbidden Door) interim AEW World Championship was "beneath him". He doesn't think too highly of TNT Title reigns enjoyed by Sammy, Cody Rhodes or Scorpio Sky either.

Basically, Miro believes that he's the last TNT Champ who was worth anything, and he's proud of his 140-day stint with the belt.

Wrestling fans and industry critics alike blasted All Elite for having Guevara literally destroy the original championship during his feud with Sky. That must be considered one of the most puzzling booking decisions in company history.
