With last week’s WWE Raw going off the air with the cliffhanger question of whether or not Randy Orton set Alexa Bliss on fire, last night’s outing for the red brand saw the Viper update audiences on what went down after the cameras stopped rolling a week ago.

As per a backstage interview with Charly Caruso, Orton of course confirmed that he did not set Little Miss Bliss ablaze. Detailing how the voices in his head were telling him to torch Bliss, Randal Keith cited how he couldn’t go through with dropping a match on the gasoline-drenched Alexa.

Citing how his battles with ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt had changed him by allowing him to show restraint and compassion, Orton explained how he hates himself for being influenced by Wyatt.

Even though he stopped short of toasting Alexa Bliss, Randy claimed he was now capable of absolutely anything. Well, apart from setting former Women’s Champions on fire, of course.

From there, the attention of Randy Orton went towards the numerous names who were involved in WWE’s Legends Night celebration, although all that we got from that was Orton mocking the likes of Big Show and Mark Henry later in the night.

Over the weekend, it was reported that Orton and Wyatt will be facing off in a Firefly Fun House match at 31 January’s Royal Rumble PPV – although that has yet to be officially announced by WWE, with The Fiend having been absent from WWE TV since being set on fire at last month’s TLC PPV.
