Festival Of Friendship Set For WWE Raw Next Week
Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens announce a big celebration in Las Vegas.
Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho claim to be best friends, but their relationship has seen its share of ups and downs in recent months.
It looked like their bond was broken prior to Roadblock: End Of The Line, but the duo pulled a huge ruse on Roman Reigns by costing him the WWE Universal Championship in the night's main event.
Things have been relatively smooth ever since, but their tension re-emerged last night. Goldberg was able to goad Jericho into accepting a Universal Title challenge on Owens' behalf, and it'll be Goldberg vs. KO for the gold at Fastlane (March 5th).
Owens wasn't best pleased, but Jericho has an idea to help patch things up. Y2J announced that next week's Raw will see him host the first ever "Festival Of Friendship" in Owens' honour, with Jericho calling it "the WrestleMania of friendships."
Jericho stated that he and Owens need to show the world how strong their bond is, but considering duo are rumoured to be facing each other for Jericho's United States Title at WrestleMania 33, could this be the beginning of the end?
WWE have also promised a Raw Women's Championship match between Charlotte and Bayley, as well as Emmalina's overdue return for next week's Raw.
