Christy Hemme has returned to IMPACT Wrestling in a backstage role.

This is according to IMPACT Hall of Famer and producer Gail Kim, who said as much during an appearance on SiriusXM's Busted Open Radio on Tuesday. Kim stated that Hemme is helping out in a number of different capacities, including branding and production, with the seven-time Knockouts Champion quipping that it was great to have Christy back in the promotion.

Hemme previously worked for IMPACT during its Total Nonstop Action days, occupying a number of different roles throughout a ten-year run with the company commencing in April 2006. Initially performing as a wrestler before becoming a manager for The Rock 'n Rave Infection, she later worked as a ring announcer and interview through to February 2016, when it was announced she was taking a break.

Jeremy Borash replaced Hemme onscreen at that time. Two months later, she had left TNA entirely.

Hemme has not yet commented on her IMPACT return. She hasn't been particularly active in pro wrestling since stepping away in 2016, though she and Kim attempted to launch a wrestling-based drama series, KAYfABE, through Kickstarter in 2020.
