Former Star Says WWE Has Made THIS Title "Irrelevant"

One WWE legend isn't a fan of this particular title; says it means nothing to fans.

Al Snow thinks WWE has done a woeful job of making the 24/7 Title seem like something fans should care about.

The WWE legend told the 'In Your House' podcast that 24/7 now carries some serious baggage amongst hardcore viewers who tune into Raw every single week - he called it totally "irrelevant". Worse, the belt's irrelevancy has rubbed off onto wrestlers who either hold or pursue it.

Good news: Al has a solution.

He's pitched that WWE start putting a monetary value on title reigns, especially for the secondary straps. So, for example, a wrestler's pay for that evening's TV show would increase if he managed to win the 24/7 Championship when the cameras were rolling.

Snow doesn't think the company need to go daft with this; he reckons a $500 bonus for winning the title would be realistic enough so long as the commentary team hammered that home throughout the night. Then, WWE would have the stakes they're looking for and might turn the 24/7 Title into less of a running joke that means nothing.

It's cool that Al is thinking of ways to rescue the title, but most fans were cold on it from the start.
