Former WWE Producer Jumps Ship To AEW One Week After Resigning
Quit WWE after WrestleMania, join AEW the following week..
Former WWE producer Pat Buck worked the same role on last night's episode of AEW Dynamite, reports PWInsider's Mike Johnson.
On top of this, Buck was apparently backstage at last week's Dynamite as well, meaning that he would have been at least associating with Tony Khan's promotion within days of leaving his WWE role.
Buck has now joined AEW in a regular role as a producer.
Hired by WWE for the production team in 2019, Buck resigned from his position shortly after WrestleMania 38, having worked on SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey and collaborated with Michael Hayes on Universal Champion Roman Reigns and WWE Champion Brock Lesnar's 'Winner Take All' headliner at the WWE two-nighter. It was stated that having fulfilled his goal of producing main-event matches for the biggest wrestling show of the year, Buck wanted to focus his attention on his family.

It would be significantly easier for him to do this in AEW, where the schedule is a lot lighter than WWE. While Vince McMahon's promotion runs multiple shows every week, including live events, Tony Khan's typically tapes all weekly television on the same night.
