Former WWE Stars To Make AEW Dynamite Debut

These two ex-WWE men will make their Dynamite debuts this Wednesday.

AEW Dynamite Blake Christian Metalik

While they've made appearances on AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation, former WWE stars Blake Christian and Metalik will be making their AEW Dynamite on this coming Wednesday's edition of the company's flagship show.

As announced by AEW, Christian and Metalik will team up with AR Fox to take on the House of Black for the AEW Trios Championships.

Christian, Metalik and Fox have recently been teaming up in Ring of Honor, and they notably came up short against the Embassy for the ROH Six Man Tag Team Titles at Supercard of Honor back in March.

For Blake Christian, he spent most of 2021 in WWE under the Trey Baxter name. There, he competed for NXT and 205 Live before being released in November of that year. Since departing the market leader, Christian has competed for GCW, IMPACT Wrestling, New Japan Pro-Wrestling and various independent promotions in addition to his work for ROH and AEW.

Where Metalik is concerned, he was a part of WWE from 2016 through until 2021, performing under the Gran Metalik moniker. During that time, the 34-year-old was a standout of the Cruiserweight Classic back in '16, before then signing with the company and eventually becoming a part of Lucha House Party.

Elsewhere, the full line-up for this next AEW Dynamite offering reads as follows:

- Adam Cole and Chris Jericho contract signing for Double or Nothing

- Tony Khan to announce the location of AEW Collision's debut episode

- AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy vs. Aussie Open's Kyle Fletcher

- AEW Trios Champions House of Black vs. Blake Christian, Metalik & AR Fox
