The FTR tandem of Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler made a surprise appearance at last night's ROH Final Battle PPV.

Billed as the final show before Ring of Honor goes on hiatus until April 2022, FTR arrived and confronted the Briscoe Brothers moments after Mark and Jay had defeated Matt Taven and Mike Bennett to become the new ROH Tag Team Champions.

The Briscoes' 12th reign as ROH Tag Camps, the brothers were celebrating their victory when Dax and Cash turned up to brawl with the legendary ROH duo - seemingly setting up what some wrestling fans would classify as a dream match between two of the best tag teams of the past several years.

Elsewhere, Final Battle also saw AAA Reina de Reinas Championship Deonna Purrazzo turn up and lay down a challenge to ROH Women's Champion Rok-C. There, after Rok-C had defeated Willow Nightingale, the Virtuosa stated how she would defeat Mickie James to win back the IMPACT Knockouts Title and then have a winner-takes-all bout with Rok-C.

One other Final Battle surprise saw 'The Titan' Adam Scherr - the former Braun Strowman - as part of a new faction alongside EC3, Westin Blake and Fodder.
