With Becky Lynch now firmly back in the fold and holding the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship, there's a new update on who exactly knew about the Man's return to the ring at this month's SummerSlam PPV.

As per Fightful Select, Lynch's return was kept a secret from the vast majority of the WWE roster.

Two people who did know about Becky's return, were Bianca Belair and Carmella. Of course, Belair was the person who Lynch beat for the SmackDown Women's Title, whilst Carmella was laid out by the Irish star.

This report also adds how Lynch's name was kept off all internal run sheets, and how WWE added extra segments to the show in order to fill the time previously allocated to the advertised Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks match - with one such segment seemingly being Rick Boogz, Shinsuke Nakamura and Pat McAfee rocking out while Boogz played Nakamura's entrance music on the guitar.

With Banks not cleared to compete at SummerSlam, it was Carmella who was initially announced as the Boss' replacement to face Belair. Before we could get to that match, though, Becky Lynch made her shock return, threw 'Mella out of the ring, then threw down the challenge to the E.S.T.
