We'll keep spoilers to an absolute minimum here, but know that the season's fifth episode, "Freaky Tuesday", isn't just decisively the best episode of the season - it just might be the best 30 minutes of television that GLOW has ever produced.

The episode's big hook is that it sees the ladies switching up their well-regimented wrestling gimmicks, resulting in a number of hilarious "what if?" scenarios where characters borrow each other's in-ring personas.

These switcharoos are smartly selected for maximum amusement, and serve as a welcome injection of uproarious humour just when the show needs it most.

Though not a landmark episode in terms of its grounded character drama, it might be the most purely entertaining GLOW episode yet - not to overhype it too much.
