The latest on Goldberg's WWE future ahead of Elimination Chamber 2022.

Goldberg isn't currently scheduled for any WWE dates beyond next week's Elimination Chamber 2022 show, as pointed out by Wrestling Inc.

The former WCW Champion is lined-up for this week's SmackDown tapings in New Orleans, Louisiana, which will be a double-header. WWE plans not only on shooting tonight's episode live but capturing next week's as well, with the Chamber event taking place in Saudi Arabia the next day (19 February).

Beyond that, Goldberg isn't advertised for further shows.

This could always change, of course. Wrestlers are added to and removed from cards at the drop of a hat in WWE. If the promotion feels it has a use or need for Goldberg, it will use him, though the 55-year-old's current situation is muddied by his uncertain contractual situation.

Though Goldberg has previously claimed that he only has one match left on his WWE contract, he has also stated that his deal runs through 2023. Regardless of when it actually expires, the possibility of him signing an extension can't be ruled out, given the level of prominence he is pushed to when on WWE television.

As confirmed last week, Goldberg challenges Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber 2022.
