GUNTHER Has No Interest In THIS Potential WWE Match

The current Intercontinental Champ wouldn't be interested if WWE pitched this match.

GUNTHER has zero interest in wrestling a title unification match vs. Seth Rollins. Further, the reigning Intercontinental Champion told WrestlingNews.Co that he doesn't think WWE would be up for unifying his belt with the new World Heavyweight Championship anyway.

That's a fair point.

WWE only introduced the World Title in late-May when Rollins beat AJ Styles at Night Of Champions to hold the gold first. As GUNTHER pointed out during his interview, he's doing pretty darn well for himself as IC Champ, so it'd be foolish if Triple H was thinking about pitching both champions against one another in some sort of "Winner Takes All" scenario.

GUNTHER's year long run as Intercontinental Champion has raised the profile of that belt exponentially, and it's cool to hear him shoot down unification chatter (which has been all the rage in WWE circles over the past whilst) immediately.

The Austrian did also say that he considers himself and Rollins as guys who wrestle in "two different divisions" entirely. Would he work a non-title bout with Seth? Of course, but GUNTHER has no interest in amalgamating a title he's worked so hard to elevate with one that's just been minted.
