'Hair Vs. Hair' Match Set For WWE SummerSlam 2020
Someone's locks have got to go!
Old pals-turned-enemies Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville will meet in a 'Hair vs. Hair' match at SummerSlam 2020.
The warring WWE pair have been a regular highlight on SmackDown for months, and there's every chance this could be a sleeper hit for the pay-per-view; even if you don't normally look out for Mandy's matches, this might be one to watch.
Someone is getting their head shaved.
Rose sent out the gimmick match challenge during a promo on Friday night, and WWE have since made the bout official on their website. Deville had already cut off some of Mandy's long blonde locks during a segment two weeks ago, so it makes sense.
Mandy then returned last week sporting a new hairdo.
Rather oddly, WWE's graphic for the 'Hair vs. Hair' match shows Rose with her longer, flowing mane. That, presumably, was made before the angle several weeks ago, but it's a curious choice not to use her more current look.
Regardless of that, the match is sure to be intense. Fingers crossed it doesn't ruin the momentum Sonya (in particular) has built up as a heel in 2020.
