New AEW World Champion 'Hangman' Adam Page wants nothing to do with Wardlow and his "big muscle t*ts" going forward.

Stating this desire not to fight The Pinnacle member and his impressive pectorals was part of a fake press release put out by Page yesterday, with the tongue-in-cheek post outlined Hangman's training plan for his upcoming match with Bryan Danielson, announced Cowboy Sh*t Day for this week's episode of Dynamite, and more.

Page become AEW's fourth World Champion by defeating Kenny Omega in an acclaimed match at Full Gear 2021 this past weekend. His victory capped a two-year character arc that began with him falling to Chris Jericho in the inaugural title fight at All Out 2019, and has since continued through multiple peaks and valleys, culminating in him finally felling his former tag team partner to take the top prize.

This week's episode of Dynamite takes place in Page's home state, Virginia, guaranteeing a great reception for perhaps the most organically over wrestler in the company.

AEW is yet to confirm a date for Hangman's match with Danielson, who defeated Miro to win the World Title Eliminator tournament at Full Gear.
