Hangman Page Teaming With 'Mystery Partner' On Next Week's AEW Dynamite

And tag opponent Jericho has zero sympathy for an injured Kenny Omega.

Hangman Page

This week's edition of AEW Dynamite will see one half of the Tag Team Champions Hangman Page teaming up with a 'mystery substitute partner' to take on former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara in a non-title bout.

After an epic battle with The Young Bucks at AEW Revolution, it appears that Kenny Omega has gone down injured with a hand injury. This means that he will be unable to compete for 1-2 more weeks and that Adam 'Hangman' Page will be without his trusty tag partner for an incoming clash with The Inner Circle's two shining lights.

AEW announced on their Twitter that:

'Kenny Omega will not be medically cleared for 1 - 2 more weeks as a result of his hand injury suffered at Revolution. Hangman Page will choose a mystery substitute partner to take on Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara in a non-title match this Wed, 3/11 in Salt Lake City on Dynamite.'

This opens the door up for a whole world of possibilities as to who the partner will be. Will we see Lance Archer appear? Brodie Lee? BROKEN Matt Hardy?

Whatever happens, Chris Jericho clearly isn't harbouring any sympathy towards Omega or his injury.

On Instagram, the former champ stated said:

'Just heard poor @kennyomegamanx isn’t cleared for this Wednesday in #AEWSaltLakeCity, so @hangmanadampage has a mystery partner for @sammyguevara and I. Just know that We don’t care who it is, because the #InnerCircle is out for blood!! And just a reminder that the ENTIRE @allelitewrestling roster is on notice...and that ain’t no mystery.'

AEW Dynamite looks like being as can't-miss as always and we know we'll definitely be watching who the Hangman wanders down to the ring with on Wednesday night.
