Here's How Many Matches Goldberg Has Left On WWE Contract

Here's how long Goldberg really has left in WWE...

Goldberg was amongst the featured guests on this week's episode of WWE's The Bump, appearing on the YouTube series to hype his SummerSlam 2021 match with Bobby Lashley this weekend.

The conversation saw Goldberg announce that he had two more matches left on his contract with the company. His current deal is for two bouts every year until 2022, so unless he ends up beating Lashley and winning the WWE Championship, that's when his next in-ring appearances will go down.

Note that this doesn't necessarily mean he'll be done with the company, though. WWE could believably end up re-signing Goldberg given his perceived status as a star above most on the full-time roster.

When asked about future opponents, Goldberg named John Cena and Roman Reigns as two he'd like to throw down with, given that he has never faced either man.

Goldberg returned to WWE in 2016, doing so to reignite the Brock Lesnar feud that served as his last in the company before leaving in 2014. Now 54 years old, he has become a two-time Universal Champion since coming back - and SummerSlam will be his second WWE Title shot in 2021.
