Hideo Itami Returning To WWE NXT This Week?

Over a year later, the former KENTA could be about to return.

Hideo Itami looks set for return to WWE soon. Itami tweeted a fairly simple message this recently - '#NXTWinterHaven', which is being construed as the man announcing his return to action at that titular show this week.

Shinsuke Nakamura had earlier stoked the fires regarding a potential return for Itami, by posting a photo of the two and stating his compatriot was ready to return. Nakamura has since deleted the tweet. This is the internet we're talking about however, and nothing is ever truly deleted.

Hideo Itami has been out of action since May last year, which is well over a year now. It was his shoulder that caused the issue, as a problem arose that required surgery only for there to be further complications with the surgery. All this seems to be passed him now, and we can expect to see Itami back on NXT TV sooner rather than later.

Will he be on NXT for the foreseeable future? With the WWE brand split and draft coming up, we can't really be sure. Either way, it'll be great to see him back in a WWE ring.
