Hollywood Reporter Says AEW Wrestler Is "Next Generation Action Star"

Could this AEW star follow The Rock, John Cena and Batista to Hollywood?!

MJF Not The Best Night

The Hollywood Reporter has named current AEW World Champ and celebrated heel-turned-babyface MJF as one of film's "next generation of action stars".

During their write-up, the outlet put Friedman alongside acting talent like Zazie Beets (Deadpool 2, Bullet Train), Millie Bobbie Brown (Stranger Things) and Ana de Armas (Knives Out, No Time To Die). That's quite the company for lil' Max to keep!

The Reporter called MJF "always entertaining", and pointed out that he'd connected with pro wrestling fans like only the best can. Then, they added that he "could well be the next to make the journey" from ring to silver screen and follow in the footsteps of heroes like Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, John Cena and Batista.

MJF plays the role of Lance Von Erich in A24’s upcoming drama 'The Iron Claw'. That flick centres around the famous (albeit tragic) Von Erich family. Friedman stars in the film alongside Zac Efron too.

Nobody needs to tell AEW fanatics just how good MJF is on the mic. The 27 year old's brightest days are ahead of him, that's for sure. Is he the next to hit Hollywood hard?
