Page needs the prestige of a pay-per-view win to establish him as a headliner, the next next AEW World Champion, after two consecutive Saturday night losses. The slot is so prized that Mr. Brodie Lee reverts to big deal status just be occupying the semi-main position. The match would absolutely f*ck. These are two burly boys who can hit hard and fly harder, but they're also very intelligent. Mr. Brodie Lee has proven himself every bit the layout master Arn Anderson sold him to be, and Hangman Page is one of the top five wrestlers in the world. The depth to his work in 2020 has been outstanding. Hangman Page must win. He is AEW's top babyface project.

Monsters get slain in pro wrestling.

It's an abiding truth that the modern pro wrestling fan cannot seem to reconcile at times, likely because the problem is exacerbated across internationally broadcasted episodic television.

AEW must instead master the cycle, and the cycle must be used to get its biggest project over.
