How Goldberg REALLY Feels About His Latest WWE Run

Should he squash when asked or help young talent?

Goldberg Universal

WWE and Goldberg received a ton of flak for his latest Universal Title win in Saudi Arabia. Some fans weren't happy that the WCW legend beat Bray Wyatt's 'Fiend', or that the match only lasted three minutes.

The new champ appeared on the latest episode of 'The Bump' and spoke about how much it means to him personally that he's still being booked for appearances. Goldberg went on to say that he's happy to do whatever the company ask.

Then, he said, "We all know that you gotta push the younger talent". That'll catch some eyes.

Goldberg revealed that he wouldn't mind putting others over if that's what WWE wanted. He said, "I owe the wrestling business", and humbly added, "hopefully it's still enough" when asked about the effort he puts into his training and performances.

That's just it; Goldberg isn't booking himself to run over the top of WWE full-timers. That's what the promotion wants him to do, and he's hardly going to turn the gig down if he still believes he can live up to his legacy.

At the same time, he's super-aware that this is a short-term gig and that younger wrestlers deserve to be pushed too.
