Today saw Impact Wrestling host their latest Press Pass video call, to which wrestling media members were invited to question World Champion Eric Young and challenger Rich Swann ahead of their Bound For Glory 2020 match on 24 October.

Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald asked the wrestlers about their experiences working through the global health crisis, throughout which Impact has held true empty arena shows, with Young responding that the promotion is dealing with it day to day and in their own way.

EY called it an "interesting time to be a performer," saying that he is an experiential person who wants to live through the good, bad, and indifferent. Competing in an empty building is a very different feel and atmosphere for him, but Young and Impact are making the most of it. The unique circumstances don't change his preparation or his performance.

Later in the call, Combat Republic's Mike Gilbert asked if Impact had plans to bring fans back to shows for Bound For Glory. Impact Head of Media Relations Ross Forman answered that they do not.

Young returned to Impact at Slammiversary in July, kayfabe injuring Swann with a steel chair, leading to this feud.
