Turns out MVP knew how Drew McIntyre's WWE Title loss would happen all along...

An assist from the MVP-managed Bobby Lashley led to Drew McIntyre dropping his WWE Championship to The Miz at Elimination Chamber 2021. It turns out that The Hurt Business' leader called this nine months ago.

Reddit user u/Datzookman unearthed a clip from the 25 May 2020 episode of Raw. McIntyre was MVP's guest on the VIP Lounge, as the two traded barbs back and forth to build to Lashley's shot at the WWE Champion at Backlash 2020, and MVP dropped the following line:-

"... when Drew McIntyre loses the WWE Championship, I will personally play a role in that outcome."

This came from Bobby's manager saying that when McIntyre hit him with a Claymore the previous time Drew was on the VIP Lounge, he knew he was going win the WWE Title. That was back in February 2020.

Lashley softening McIntyre up at Elimination Chamber allowed Miz to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase and become WWE Champion for the first time in a decade. There'll likely be some kind of follow up on tonight's Raw.

Whatever happens next, MVP looks mightily prophetic right now, even if this was purely coincidental. Lashley ended up losing to McIntyre at Backlash after all.
