How This Week's AEW Dynamite Was Supposed To End

What did AEW have in store for PAC, Jon Moxley, and Kenny Omega?

This week's AEW Dynamite closed with a furious Jon Moxley pacing around the ring, having just drilled the referee with a Paradigm Shift after failing to defeat PAC within their allotted main event time limit.

The angle continued after Dynamite had gone off the air. After wrestling Moxley to a draw, PAC recovered to unleash a vicious beatdown on the 'Purveyor Of Violence,' laying him out in the canvas and closing a steel chair around his neck. It looked like he was heading to the top rope to Pillmanize the neck before Kenny Omega came out, chased 'The Bastard' off, and went face-to-face with Moxley, whom he'll face at Full Gear.

Per a new report from PWInsider, the original plan was for Dynamite to close as Omega hit the ring to chase PAC away, but 'The Best Bout Machine' apparently missed his cue and arrived a little later than expected. Thus, the show ended on Moxley.

Definitely something to learn from.

The post-show angle also saw Hangman Page hit the ring to talk smack at PAC, then challenge him to a match at Full Gear on 9 November. This has since been booked.
