AEW Full Gear 2025 takes place this Saturday, emanating from Newark, New Jersey's Prudential Center, promising to offer another stacked PPV line-up, as has long been the norm for All Elite Wrestling.

In the expected main event, it's Samoa Joe getting another chance to dethrone Adam Page as the AEW World Champion. One-upping the pair's WrestleDream match - where Joe and his Opps buddies attacked Page post-match after Hangman managed to eek out a win - this time out, the action will be taking place within the confines of a steel cage, meaning that, in theory, the likes of Katsuyora Shibata and Powerhouse Hobbs won't be able to interfere. Still, when has a steel cage successfully managed to stop any interference in recent years...

Where the AEW women's division is concerned, the division's top prize is on the line when AEW Women's Champion Kris Statlander faces the challenge of Mercedes Moné and the CEO's ever-expanding quest to add even more titles to her collection. Last weekend saw Mercedes become 13-Belts Moné as she defeated Nor 'Phoenix' Diana for the APAC Women's Title, and that was followed up by a 14th belt added on the latest Dynamite/Collision show. Will Mercedes Moné walk out of Full Gear as 15-Belts Moné, or will Stat hand Mercedes only her second-ever singles loss in AEW?

In other title matches, Brodido put their AEW Tag Team Titles on the line against FTR, with Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler bidding to become three-time AEW Tag Champs. Elsewhere, Mark Briscoe gets another shot at AEW TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher, this time with no disqualifications as Briscoe looks to add a first slice of AEW gold to his name. Then there's the small matter of AEW's latest championship, the AEW National Title, which will have its inaugural champion crowned at Full Gear in a casino gauntlet. While we don't know all of the competitors for that casino gauntlet, we do know that Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Ricochet, Kevin Knight, and 'Speedball' Mike Bailey are amongst those gunning to be crowned the first-ever AEW National Champion.

Rounding out the main AEW Full Gear 2025 card at this point, Kenny Omega teams with Jurassic Express to face Josh Alexander and the Young Bucks, with a mammoth $1 million prize up for grabs here, complete with the lingering issue of whether the Bucks will join the Don Callis Family or not, and also the small matter of whether Omega really can trust Jack Perry. And then we've got Darby Allin's issues with the Death Riders continuing to rumble on, as he goes up against Pac at Full Gear. Speaking of the Death Riders, the faction's leader, Jon Moxley, faces a crisis of confidence as he faces Kyle O'Reilly in a No Holds Barred offering. With Mox having been on somewhat of a losing streak in recent weeks, another loss to KOR could well throw his role with the Death Riders into question. Finally, there's a four-way tag match featuring the Babes of Wrath, the Sisters of Sin, the Timeless Love Bombs, and Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne, with the winning team getting to choose the stipulation for their semi-final match in the ongoing tournament to crown the inaugural AEW Women's Tag Team Champions.

While the main Full Gear card currently has nine matches announced, the pre-show has an additional four contests confirmed, with 'Big Boom!' A.J. teaming with former rival Q.T. Marshall to face Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta; a four-way $200,000 tag team match where the Acclaimed, the Outrunners, the Bang Bang Gang, and the tandem of Bryan Keith and Big Bill will duke it out for that cash prize; the CMLL World Tios Titles are defended when El Sky Team put their gold up against the Callis Family's Kazuchika Okada, Konosuke Takeshita, and Hechicero; and Eddie Kingston and Hook have laid down the challenge for any two men to step up and face them as part of the Tailgate Brawl. As ever with AEW PPVs, don't be surprised if another match or two is announced - either for the main card or the pre-show - by the time bell time gets here on Saturday.

And remember, you can now get over 70% off NordVPN, with three additional months free, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
