Vince McMahon wants you to put some respect on Drew McIntyre's name when you address him in the media, not by calling him 'The Chosen One,' the WWE Champion, or even a 'Sexy Scotsman,' but by referring to Brock Lesnar's conquered as "the star of Monday Night Raw."

This is according to ESPN's Arda Ocal, who interviewed the reigning World Champion on Sunday.

It's a fair description for McIntyre. Lesnar isn't appearing on television at the moment, Becky Lynch just announced her lengthy pregnancy-induced absence, and Ronda Rousey hasn't been seen since WrestleMania 35. Who else could possibly be Raw's top star? Kevin Owens? Seth Rollins?

Nah, it's Drew.

McIntyre's reign as WWE Champion has proved a hit among fans and critics thanks to his strong work and equally strong presentation. Drew now looks set to defend his strap against a resurgent Bobby Lashley at Backlash 2020 on 14 June, having overcome Rollins in a tremendous match at Money in the Bank 2020. This was his second defence since taking the gold from Brock at 'Mania 36, having already felled Big Show on the 6 April episode of Raw, though the match was presented as going down 20 minutes after the Lesnar victory.
