HUGE Main Event Announced For Will Ospreay At AEW All Out 2026 (AEW News)
New AEW World Champ Will Ospreay will defend against Death Riders leader Jon Moxley.
AEW announced via Wednesday's post-All In episode of Dynamite that brand new World Champ and main man Will Ospreay will defend his gold against Death Riders leader Jon Moxley come All Out.
That pay-per-view is scheduled for 26 September in Chicago, and now the show has its focal point. Elsewhere, as also announced, Christian Cage and Adam Copeland defend their AEW Tag Titles in a 3-way ladder bout vs. FTR and The Young Bucks. Tony Khan is quickly front loading the PPV then.
Ospreay worked a 10-man headliner on Wednesday's flagship - he teamed with Andrade El Idolo and the United Empire trio of Henare, Francesco Akira and Callum Newman vs. The Dogs (Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors) and The Demand (Ricochet, Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun). Post-match, Kidd attacked Will, which prompted Moxley's arrival.
He stopped Gabe from battering Ospreay with a steel chair, then Andrade took Kidd out of the picture to leave Will and Mox standing nose to nose. That's when both men looked at the big screens to see they'd be matching up at All Out.
Of course, Ospreay was briefly part of the Death Riders faction for a few months earlier in the year. This is the culmination of that story, because now Moxley is coming for what Will has: The AEW World Championship. The pair have faced off twice in singles matches before this third, and it's Jon who holds the advantage.
He's 2-0 against Ospreay after winning bouts on a New Japan show in 2022 then again at AEW's Dynasty in April this year.
