Fans remain frustrated at WWE's handling of LA Knight.

With the groundswell of fan support for LA Knight only growing with each passing week, many are clamouring for WWE to do something significant with the Megastar.

Previously, fans were left disappointed that Knight wasn't on the card for WrestleMania 39. Then came Money in the Bank, where plenty were again left frustrated that LA didn't nab the briefcase in the titular men's match. Now, there's similar unhappiness at Knight not winning on this past Friday's SmackDown in a bout which would've moved him further towards challenging for Austin Theory's United States Title at SummerSlam next month.

For those concerned about WWE potentially dropping the ball on the organic rise in popularity of the hugely charismatic LA Knight, the Boozer Rasslin insider Twitter account now reports that there are plans to give the former Eli Drake a fresh push after SummerSlam.

What those plans entail remain to be seen right now, but it's positive to hear that WWE has at least noticed the ever-growing crowd reactions to Knight.

Considering how LA is a SmackDown talent, that means the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship is out of reach due to its involvement in the ongoing Bloodline saga, whilst a loss this past Friday has ruled Knight out of contention for the brand's secondary title, the United States Championship. Still, WWE could always circle back to Knight going after the US Title once SummerSlam is in the books, or his push could simply be one that doesn't necessarily need to involve a belt.
