A "firm plan" is apparently in place for WWE's ongoing Big E singles push.

This is according to the New Day man himself, who was interviewed by talkSPORT's Alex McCarthy earlier this week. The conversation saw E state that the promotion have outlined what they plan to do with him, though he's a little wary, noting that he won't totally believe it until it happens:-

Big E's solo run will continue with a match against John Morrison on tonight's episode of SmackDown. E has already felled Morrison's tag team partner, The Miz, as part of his ascension, having embarked on this journey following news that New Day partner Kofi Kingston was set to join long-term absentee Xavier Woods on the treatment table.

In an unrelated note, E also went into detail on how The New Day rotates their members for tag matches:-

An interesting snippet, though when The New Day will be whole again remains unclear. July brought confirmation that Kingston would be gone for approximately six weeks. Woods, meanwhile, was sidelined for up to a year last October, though recent reports suggest that he is now doing a lot better.
