Hulk Hogan Reaches Settlement On $110m Sex Tape Lawsuit

An agreement has been made, brother.

Hulk Hogan has reached a settlement over his $110m lawsuit against Cox Radio DJs, according to BayNews9.

The suit alleged that the defendants were guilty of conspiring to leak Hogan’s private sex tape with Heather Clem, and had started to circulate around Cox Radio studios in September 2012. Heather, for the record, is the ex-wife of Hogan's former friend Bubba “The Love Sponge” Clem.

Back in 2016, Hulk forced Gawker to close down after settling for $31m in damages for their part in the sex tape controversy.

This figure, $110m, is substantially more, and it's interesting to note that the defendants have denied the allegations and wrestled Hogan in the courts for close to four years. This week, they quietly settled (reportedly on Thursday) - that means a jury trial scheduled to begin in January 2021 won't happen.

BayNews9 didn't report on a solid sum for the settlement, and they were unable to reach Hogan or Cox Radio for any concrete comment before leaking the news. There's more to come on this one, no doubt.

Hulk will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame for a second time, as part of the nWo, shortly before WrestleMania 36.
