Hulk Hogan's 26 Losses - From Cleanest To Screwiest

12. Uncensored 1999 - Ric Flair

Hypothesis: each successive victory over Hulk Hogan makes the winner look worse than the last, and the matches inexorably march inexorably toward overbooked garbage. Like, if you beat Hogan once it might just be a cheap win, but if it happens again and there's going to be massive interference and there's a 500% chance you will gain nothing from the victory.

Case in point: Ric Flair's second ever victory over the Hulkster.

At Uncensored 1999, Hogan and Flair squared off in a barbed wire steel cage first blood (on a pole?) match. Yes, Ric Flair agreed to a match that he would lose if he began bleeding. That's like Hogan agreeing to an "orangest guy loses" match, but whatever.

Flair bled all over the place almost immediately, but the match continued for reasons that remain unclear. Arn Anderson eventually showed up and handed Flair a tire iron -- what, no shoes were handy? -- which he used to knock out Hogan for a pin. In a first blood match. One in which Flair was already covered in blood.

WCW, folks.
