Iconic WWE Tag Team Reuniting For HUGE Wrestlepalooza Match (WWE News)

Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed set to get big time opponents on WWE's next PLE.

Wrestling Observer Radio says there's a great chance that The Usos will reunite as a tag-team to take on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed at WWE's Wrestlepalooza PLE on 20 September. That'd reflect what happened during Monday's episode of Raw. There, after The Vision had beaten Jey and LA Knight in the main event, Jimmy ran in to make the save for his brother.

His spot followed 'Main Event' Jey trying to save Roman Reigns from being hospitalised by Breakker and Reed at Clash In Paris on Sunday night. Of course, the 'OTC' was stretchered out of the arena so he can dash off to shoot scenes for Street Fighter. WWE needed an on screen reason to justify his absence, so they had Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman's war dogs do the dirty work.

The Vision has been dominant lately, so seeing Jimmy rush out to protect his own flesh and blood made sense. It looks like Bron and Bronson could actually hammer their way towards tag-team gold at some point too. Failing that, Breakker (in particular) will be kept on ice for a bumper one-on-one bout vs. Reigns once the 'Tribal Chief' returns from his latest sabbatical.

There's no doubt that a match like The Vision vs. The Usos would be a fine addition to the midcard at Wrestlepalooza. John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar is all but confirmed, and IYO SKY vs. Stephanie Vaquer is also on the card. Further, AJ Lee is expected to wrestle her first WWE match since 2015 when she teams with CM Punk vs. Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins.

The Usos Will Work Their First Televised Tag Match Since March

Technically, Wrestlepalooza's match vs. Breakker and Reed would be Jimmy and Jey's first together since early-August, but that 1 August bout with Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh was a dark effort following that night's SmackDown show. On TV, The Usos haven't worked a proper two-on-two tag since beating A-Town Down Under on the 24 March Raw.

The siblings are always going to sporadically take respective breaks from their singles runs to veer back into tag action. That's a useful creative tool for WWE's writing team to have, and they know it. Besides, Jey hasn't had his troubles to seek with The Vision - it's neat storytelling that he'd lean on family to help him out in the fight against them.

Breakker and Reed vs. The Usos should be a fine match at Wrestlepalooza later this month. Don't be too surprised if The Vision comes to SmackDown to attack Jimmy as well. WWE doesn't really honour the brand split unless they feel like it/there's a Draft special coming up they need to promote.
