Identity Of WWE Raw's 'Disciple' Referee Revealed

Who was Seth Rollins' man on Monday night?

Kevin Owens ref

The identity of the referee Seth Rollins enlisted to screw Kevin Owens over on this week's episode of Raw has been revealed.

The 'Disciple' ref was actually indy worker Jake Clemons. He's worked extensively for EVOLVE, Absolute Intense Wrestling, Smash Wrestling and other independent promotions in the past, and he's on Twitter with the handle @ClemonsJake.

Monday's performance might just have gained Jake a few new followers.

His facial expressions were spot on when Owens found out he was Seth's choice for a main event between KO and Randy Orton. The babyface then smashed Clemons through a table as Rollins watched on helplessly from the stage.

It's unknown if WWE will give Clemons another gig or if this was a one off. Having a heel ref in their midst, similar to the nWo's Nick Patrick back in the '90s, would actually be a fun idea for Rollins and his 'Monday Night Messiah' gimmick.

The big table bump appeared definitive through, and there are currently no reported plans for Clemons to follow up on this appearance with an extended run. He certainly didn't do his chances any harm on Raw.
