Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen

They own the night.

Bound For Glory is the biggest event on Impact Wrestling's calendar, with this year's instalment set to be no different.

It may still be behind closed doors without an audience in attendance, but Impact hasn't let this detract from their shows at all since it became the new norm at April's Rebellion special. If anything, the company has benefitted from it by proving that crowd or no crowd, they're still capable of producing one of the best weekly products for a wrestling promotion.

The hype surrounding the 2020 edition of the pay-per-view is at its highest possible point, thanks to all the pieces fitting perfectly into place. Every match on the card has a purpose, whether it's a marquee championship attraction or a multi-person Gauntlet match. The stories have played out so well that it feels as if the show simply cannot fall flat.

No doubt about it, it'll be a tall task for the company to top their outstanding Slammiversary pay-per-view, but if there's anyone who can do anything of the sort right now, it's most definitely Impact Wrestling.

How can they accomplish this, though? By doing each of these things...

10. Barry Scott Joins The Impact Hall Of Fame

Although he was revealed as the latest inductee into the Impact Hall of Fame before last year's Bound For Glory, Ken Shamrock's official induction ceremony will take place during the weekend festivities for this year's pay-per-view. That's not to say we shouldn't find out another inductee, however.

Who else should that be other than Barry Scott?

The legendary voiceover artist used his vocal skills over the years to provide iconic intros for Impact Wrestling back in the TNA days. But until his passing a few weeks ago, few fans - your writer included - had any idea just how influential he was to the company. The sheer outpouring of support once his passing was announced spoke volumes.

Right now, the Hall of Fame is comprised entirely of wrestlers, aside from Impact's former senior official Earl Hebner. The likes of Sting, Gail Kim, Kurt Angle, and Team 3D all have their rightful spots in the Hall of Fame, but Impact need to do the right thing by inducting Barry Scott, whether it's revealed this weekend or not.
