Impact Wrestling Considering TNA 'Spin Off Series'?

Back to the future.

PW Insider reports that Impact Wrestling are giving serious thought to a TNA spin off series.

The company already promote Moose on TV as the "Real World Champion" because he carries around the old TNA World Title. This spin off would go much further than that and actually lead to a standalone show dedicated to the TNA brand.

It'd be like 2009 all over again.

The idea will have its critics, but it'd be interesting to see just how far the company would go with things, and how much of an appetite there would be for such nostalgia in today's wrestling market. If handled correctly, it could direct some fresh eyes back on the core Impact product (which would surely be the point).

PW Insider also revealed that AXS TV are "high" on the idea. That's a step in the right direction, because it'd mean that any TNA reboot had a television platform to work with.

Would you be intrigued to see a return for the old TNA brand? Or, do you think Impact should quit looking to the past and keep focusing on the future?
