Indy Star Says It's "Time To Go To A Major TV Company"

Matt Cardona says it's time he went to work for "a major TV company" again after spending years rebuilding his brand on the independent circuit. That's been very successful, but the one-time Zack Ryder is ready to hit WWE or AEW hard yet again.
This has been a talking point for several years now. In fact, Cardona returning to WWE has been in the headlines on and off since he left the promotion back in April 2020. Just over four years on from that shocking low, Matt says it's time to get back where he belongs.
Cardona told Barstool Sports that maybe "Major TV Company God [doesn't have] the same ring to it as Indy God, but we'll figure it out". All joking aside, he feels like it's the right time to wave goodbye to the indy scene, because he's done pretty much everything he set out to accomplish.
Summing it up, Cardona added: "Been there, done that". Some might argue that the same is true of WWE, but Matt definitely has some unfinished business in the company, and it'd be fun to see what he can do under Triple H.
