TJ 'Tyson Kidd' Wilson seemingly returned to his backstage role for last night's episode of WWE Raw.

Fightful Select reports that the 41-year-old was listed as a producer/agent on Raw for the first time since the week commencing 17 January. Prior to that, Wilson had been a key member of WWE's backstage crew, working on multiple shows per week - so his absence was notable.

The report states that Molly Holly, Pat Buck, and Shawn Daivari assumed greater responsibility for producing women's segments in Wilson's absence. TJ is a universally-respected backstage figure in WWE - and the subject of glowing reports from multiple people who have worked with him.

Wilson's hiatus from WWE led to speculation that he was gone from the company, though this was quickly written off as a "miscommunication." Though inactive, the former Tag Team Champion was still employed by WWE and remained on good terms with the company.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported in February that Wilson's absence was related to the neck issues that ultimately ended his wrestling career. Having suffered a severe spinal cord injury in June 2015, Wilson's neck is functional but prone to flaring up.
